This wooden bowl is made from Purpleheart wood, the colour of which is naturally purple. The wood comes from the Peltogyne tree and the heartwood is purple but the outside of the tree is a mahogany colour. Roger has used his skill to get the best out of this piece of wood and it has a lovely sheen. It is finished with a food safe finish as are all of Roger’s bowls. The bowl measures: 6” x 2”
