This Pestle and Mortar has been handcrafted by Roger from Beech. The mortar (the bowl) has a detail to the side of it to enable a firm grip when lifting mortar to grind herbs and spices. The pestle has been made in such a way that you can use either end for grinding. They have been finished with a food safe finish.
The Pestle measures: 4” across and 2” high.
The Mortar measures: 5” long and 1 1/2” wide at its widest point.
